SumCo-Eco Contracting has completed more than 50 culvert, bridge, pier and boardwalk projects.  Our clients’  structures are present in municipal and state parks and wildlife refuges, at golf courses, in industrial, commercial and residential developments, access roads and elsewhere.

Many of our projects involve removal and replacement of structures no longer fulfilling their original purpose.  Project examples include natural-bottom box and arch culverts to improve flow capacity and wildlife passage; piers; timber pedestrian boardwalks; pile-supported footbridges; timber bridges; and concrete arch and steel vehicular bridges.

Every project is different. Ours often include overcoming complex site access challenges, installing water controls, constructing scour protections, dredging  accumulated sediment to restore flow, and stabilizing stream and riverbanks.
