The renovation to this existing park included existing park demo, a new field, site amenities, drainage, road work, parking lots, sidewalks, restroom building, landscaping, playgrounds, and restoration of the stream banks of Beaver Brook. The site prep consisted of utility upgrades within roadways as well as the removal of bituminous concrete, utility structures, tree stumps and roots, fencing and miscellaneous site features. Sediment and erosion controls were also implemented.
Additional site improvements include the installation of new utilities, a new storm drainage line through the park, creation of a headwall and stormwater quality basin, granite curbing and bituminous concrete to create parallel parking spaces, as well as a new parking lot, two playground areas, concrete and paver walkways, site lighting, fencing, stonedust bleacher pads, utility improvements, landscaping, rain gardens, site furnishings and a restroom building. Improvements to Beaver Brook included bank excavation, boulder revetment installation and plantings.
