SumCo was contracted by the Town of Shrewsbury to remove four 10,000-gallon Underground Storage Tanks (USTs) from three public schools located in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts. The scope of work included the removal of the four USTs and associated piping, backfill, and site restoration. The Town required the work to be completed prior to the start of the 2019-2020 school year.

Unexpected petroleum impacted soils were encountered during excavation; SumCo completed excavation and disposal of soils without impacting schedule.
